Work has finally started. The car is at the front of the garage now near the work bench. The Rover will go to the back of the garage when necessary.
Let's get rid of some rust - an easy job first! This is the open tailgate with holes below the back window. I am NOT repairing that!
The tailgate is off.
It has temporarily joined its fibreglass replacement which was bought a long time ago. All that is needed now is to remove the badge and lock from the old tailgate before it is donated to the tip!Come back every 10 days from now on and you should see something new.
